Shipping & Returns Policy

At Sassy Southern Creations, we are committed to providing high-quality products and a professional boutique experience. Please review our policies carefully before purchasing.


SHIPPING

Processing Time

Most in-stock items ship within 3–5 business days.

Custom, personalized, made-to-order, or seasonal items may require additional processing time. Estimated timelines are listed on individual product pages.

Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

Processing times and shipping times are separate.


Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and delivery location.

We do not offer free shipping at this time.

Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has been processed and shipped.


Shipping Confirmation & Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor tracking and ensure delivery.


Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.

Sassy Southern Creations is not responsible for:

• Delays caused by incorrect addresses
• Delivery issues due to customer-provided errors
• Packages returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses

Orders returned to us due to incorrect address, refusal, or failure to pick up from the carrier will require additional shipping fees to be reshipped.


Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Shipments

If tracking shows “Delivered” but the package cannot be located:

• Check with household members or neighbors
• Contact your local carrier

Sassy Southern Creations is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once marked delivered by the carrier.

We are happy to assist in filing a carrier claim if needed.

Shipping delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, or peak seasons are outside of our control.


LOCAL PICKUP (MARKETS & FUTURE STOREFRONT)

Local pickup may be available at select markets or physical retail locations.

Customers selecting local pickup will be notified when their order is ready.

Orders must be picked up within 5 days of notification unless prior arrangements have been made.

Valid identification may be required at pickup.

Once an order has been marked as picked up, Sassy Southern Creations is no longer responsible for the item.

Orders not picked up within the required timeframe may be restocked at our discretion.


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Due to the nature of many of our products — including custom items, fragrance goods, and seasonal releases — most sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or defective.

All claims must be submitted within 5 days of delivery (online orders) or 5 days of purchase (in-store purchases).

Claims submitted after this timeframe may not be eligible for review.


NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

For hygiene, safety, customization, and product integrity reasons, the following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

• Fragrance oils
• Car freshies (if opened, used, or removed from packaging)
• Candles and wax melts once opened
• Custom or personalized items (including apparel, drinkware, décor, etc.)
• Sale or clearance merchandise
• Seasonal or limited-edition releases
• Any product that has been opened, worn, used, altered, washed, or not in original condition

Due to the subjective nature of fragrance preferences, we do not accept returns or exchanges based on scent selection.


ONLINE ORDER ISSUES

If there is an issue with your online order, contact us within 5 days of delivery at:

Please include:

• Full name
• Order number
• Clear description of the issue
• Photos of the item(s)
• Photos of packaging and shipping label (if applicable)

Incomplete documentation may delay review.


Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, provide clear photos of:

• The damaged product
• Packaging
• Shipping label

Once reviewed and approved, we may offer:

• Replacement (if available)
• Store credit
• Refund (if replacement is not possible)


Missing Items

If an item is missing from your order, contact us within 5 days of delivery. Once verified, we will ship the missing item or provide an appropriate resolution.


Incorrect Items

If you receive the wrong item, contact us with photos and your order number. If approved, return instructions may be provided before a replacement is issued.


IN-STORE RETURNS & EXCHANGES (FUTURE RETAIL LOCATION)

For purchases made at a physical Sassy Southern Creations location:

Eligible items may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 5 days of purchase with receipt.

Items must be:

• Unworn
• Unused
• Unwashed
• In original packaging
• In original condition

The following items remain non-returnable in-store:

• Fragrance oils
• Car freshies (if opened or used)
• Candles and wax melts once opened
• Custom or personalized items
• Sale or clearance merchandise
• Seasonal or limited-edition releases

Refunds to the original form of payment are not available for in-store purchases. Approved returns will be issued as store credit or exchange only.


RESOLUTION PROCESS

All claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

After review, we will determine the most appropriate resolution based on the circumstances. This may include:

• Replacement
• Store credit
• Refund

We reserve the right to deny claims that appear fraudulent, inconsistent, or unsupported by proper documentation.

Each concern is evaluated carefully to ensure fairness while protecting the integrity and sustainability of our small business.
